Remote Sensing of Deforestation in the Sabangau peat swamp forest, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia
This project assesses remote sensing technologies in detecting changes in large and remote areas of Sabangau Forest. Land-use classification was conducted to study the difference in land-use over a temporal scale. There was intense deforestation as seen from the image comparison (Figure 1 and 2).

Ways to improve:
If I conducted a change detection statistics to compute the percentage change of the respective land-uses, I will do cloud masking so as to achieve more accurate data,
